A series of six reduction prints The inspiration was a feminist interpretation of the curse that God placed on women for pain in childbirth. Carol Myers argues in Rediscovering Eve that the pain is in the lifelong emotional ties with children rather than the physical birth. By contrast, the six forms of seed dispersal are impersonal and painless in the botanical world.
